Living in a Construction Zone

HERE ARE SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

At any given time as many as 13 homes are being built in your neighborhood

Typical construction hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, M – F. However work often takes place 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday-Saturday.

Dust, dirt, construction debris and staging materials are a part of new home construction.

Please remember that dumpsters are for construction materials only and not for personal trash.

Personal trash invites unwanted critters, smells and heath hazards.

Construction workers will need to park vehicles on the streets of the neighborhood which may include in front of your home. If they park in front of your driveway or mailbox, please let the onsite supervisor know.

Although we ask workers not to use your water or electricity, it is possible they will do it anyway. We apologize in advance if this occurs and ask you to let the onsite supervisor or David Luecke know.

It may be in your best interest to hold-off on certain home projects (lawn, fence, trees) until construction on both sides of your home is complete. As a side note, Capitol Homes provides a
starter lawn package for you to build upon.

Make sure to keep yourself, kids, friends and pets away from construction zones for your safety.

Please ask children not play in the Port-a-Potties.

It is possible your tolerance for inconvenience will be tested. Please remember all of it is temporary and is part of a growing neighborhood.

It can be difficult to get internet and cable services in a new neighborhood. Please be aware that this may cause an interruption in your home office functions and plan accordingly. It may be a
good idea to open a ticket about 45 days prior to move-in.

If you are worried about it, ask about it. We are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have after move-in. We value your business before, during and after move-in.

Customer Testimonials

Capitol Homes was able to give us the look we wanted without exceeding our budget. Our friends who have built custom homes told us to expect to go over budget by 10 to 20 percent … I say that they should have chosen David Luecke and Capitol Homes. Capitol completed our new home under budget and gave us more than we expected.Todd Kornblit
